There hasn’t been a Black Ops game without Nuketown and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is no different. The map is returning to the game’s multiplayer, and you won’t have to wait long to check it out.
Nuketown is arriving in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on November 1, 2024. Yes, just a week after launch. This was confirmed on the official Call of Duty X account ahead of the game’s release.
From the trailer, the map appears to return to a more classic look compared to Black Ops Cold War, which drastically changed the colour palette of the map. Instead, the diverse colours, look, and design of the map appear to stick closer to the original Black Ops.
You can actually see remnants of a “failed” Nuketown in the Strike map Warhead. This map features a bus, some houses, and a Nuketown sign that have been dumped after the plan failed. This map doesn’t resemble where the actual Nuketown map will be set, however, as this is in the middle of a desert with items laid about everywhere.
