Last night (18 April), Tribes played an NME Showcase gig at the Market Street branch of H&M in Manchester. Click through for photos from the night.

Tribes fans queued around the block for passes to the free gig.

Tribes took the opportunity to browse the racks for new threads.

Tribes tear it up on the shop floor.

And the crowd goes wild.

It’s been a busy year for Johnny Lloyd, who released his novella A Journey Through The Heart Of A Pig in January.

Tribes’ second album ‘Wish To Scream’ will be released on 20 May.

There will be further NME Showcase gigs in association with H&M throughout the summer.

One act booked to perform for lucky fans is ‘Everything Is Embarrassing’ singer Sky Ferreira, at H&M’s Oxford Street store in London on 25 May.

And Carl Barât will be playing Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries on 8 May.
