The Stone Roses played two consecutive nights at north London’s Finsbury Park after the Madchester legend’s three comeback shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park last year.

Ian Brown and his band started the Saturday night show with ‘I Wanna Be Adored’.

Elephant Stone’, ‘Going Down’ and ‘Breaking Into Heaven’ were aired both nights.

The first night featured Rudimental, The Courteeners and Dizzee Rascal and the second, Miles Kane, Johnny Marr and PiL.

There were A LOT of fishermen hats.

John Squire’s virtuoso guitar skills were a highlight of the performances.

Ian Brown hardly acknowledged the 75,000-strong crowd but when he did, they went nuts.

Earlier in the day, Johnny Marr played a mixture of solo and Smiths songs, including ‘Bigmouth Strikes Again’ and ‘How Soon Is Now’

How many fisherman hats can you spot?

Miles Kane played songs from his new album ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’.

The Birkenhead musician played a secret gig after the Stone Roses.

PiL made an awful racket.

The crowd cheered up immeasurably when the Stone Roses came on stage and ran through pretty much all their songs.
