Alex Turner and Miles Kane brought their second album ‘Everything You’ve Come To Expect’ to Worthy Farm, looking sharp in a powder blue suit (Kane) and blazer and flares (Turner). With them they also brought new stage moves, new tunes and a tribute to David Bowie.

The band were backed up by Mini Mansions’ Zachary Dawes and Tyler Parkford, and Guards’ Loren Humphrey, plus a string quartet.

Alex Turner made the most of his time not strapped to a guitar, swivelling his hips across the stage and jumping off stage to get closer to the audience.

The band started with ‘Sweet Dreams, TN’, one of the most crooner-style and explicit songs Turner has ever written.

Throughout the set Turner and Miles Kane were in playful mood, staring for long periods of time into each other’s eyes and sharing their microphones.

The duo also paid their own tribute to the late David Bowie, covering his ‘Moonage Daydream’ towards the end of their performance.

Turner showed off some of his new stage moves, which included taking off his jacket and whipping it around above his head.

The frontman was much more free than when performing with Arctic Monkeys and, at one point, even ran off stage from the left just to run back on seconds later from the right hand side.

“We have to leave you now,” Turner purred to the crowd as their set drew to a close, bringing things to a finish with ‘In My Room’ from their 2007 debut album ‘The Age Of The Understatement’.
