Rising London band The Big Moon played the capital’s 100 Club last week (April 13), following in the footsteps of the great and good in UK music. Literally everyone from The Rolling Stones to The Sex Pistols to The Libertines have played the hallowed Oxford Street basement venue in the past, and the fourpiece’s energetic brand of indie pop went down a storm with the capacity crowd. Led by frontwoman Juliette Jackson, The Big Moon powered through tracks including snarky debut single ‘Sucker’, ‘Nothing Without You’ and their latest release ‘Cupid’. Photographer Charlotte Patmore was on hand to capture it the tour, and here are her pics – taking in gigs at the 100 Club, Bristol’s Stop The Bus, Southampton’s Joiners and Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club.

The band have been kicking off their sets with a rendition of fan-favourite ‘Suzie’, before following it with another half hour of pristine indie goodness.
Since forming in north London at the tail end of 2014, The Big Moon have earned comparisons to everyone from PJ Harvey to The Slits.
