Fans of Frank Turner, get yourselves to south London sharpish, because currently on show at London’s House of Vans – until July 31 – is ‘Get Better: 8 Years On The Road with Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls’, featuring super snaps from photographer Ben Morse. Here are some exclusive pics from the show.
That’s Ben on the left, with his old pal Frank at the show’s launch. “The gallery as a body of work is like a tour family photo album,” says Ben. “It shows in parallel Frank’s ascension, together with my skills improving. Frank is an artist who prides himself on being accessible, so it’s a privilege to communicate that visually. Prolonged artist/photographer relationships are very rare, but still exist and I’m grateful to House of Vans for allowing me to show the work I do. Artistic collaboration and the work that comes from that sort of friendship is (to me) the best kind of music photography.”

Ben: “We often do a pre-show photo – everyone is always relaxed and in a good headspace, so they’re often fun. This is last September at the legendary 9:30 club in Washington DC.”
