Over the weekend (December 10), the standalone Star Wars spinoff film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story received its premiere at Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre. The stars were out for the big night, from Felicity Jones to Nathan Fillion, and there was even an X-wing in residence outside the cinema. Check out what went down below.

Here’s Riz Ahmed, who plays Rebel pilot Bodhi Rook, and who also released the ace album ‘Cashmere’ this year as part of Swet Shop Boys.

Director Gareth Edwards, who’s been announced as one of the keynote speakers at 2017’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, was also in attendance.

Comedian Chris Hardwick and model Lydia Hearst strike a pose by the X-wing parked in front of the cinema.

The star of the show, Felicity Jones, poses seems to have made some new pals in the form of these Stormtroopers.

Felicity Jones, who plays the film’s protagonist Jyn Erso, stopped to hang out with some fans, signing this one’s eye-catching helmet.

There were plenty of Star Wars fans who’d gone all out for the occasion and turned up in their finest character costumes.

Fall Out Boy made an appearance too, with bassist Pete Wentz and drummer Andy Hurley coming out to see the spin-off.

Donald Faison (aka Turk from Scrubs) was pretty excited to see the X-wing. Well, wouldn’t you be?

It was also a time for reunions: here Alan Tudyk, the voice of K-2SO, embraces his Firefly co-star Nathan Fillion.

Clerks director Kevin Smith also popped along to the premiere. He reviewed the film on his Facebook page after, calling it “Empire Strikes Back great”.
