For the tenth time in the band’s 21 year history, Biffy Clyro played Reading & Leeds Festival this weekend. The set was a spectacular combination of stadium rock, complex staging, and bare torsos. 15 years after their first performance at Reading, here’s what went down on Sunday night at the main stage.
Following ‘Sounds Like Balloons’, frontman Simon Neil greeted the crowd: “Reading ’16, how the fuck are you doing? It’s lovely to see you here, we’re Biffy fucking Clyro.”

The track was followed up by ‘Friends and Enemies’, “for the new school”.
