Lewis Capaldi has announced that he is taking a break from touring “for the foreseeable future”, which includes his scheduled performance at Indonesia’s We The Fest this July.

The announcement comes a few days after Capaldi’s performance at Glastonbury, during which he experienced sever ticks stemming from his Tourette’s Syndrome diagnosis, as well as vocal issues. During that set, he suggested that he would be taking a break after the show.

That break has now been confirmed, with Capaldi announcing an indefinitely leave from performances. We The Fest has since confirmed that Capaldi will no longer be performing at the festival on July 23. At the time of publishing, We The Fest has yet to announce a replacement act for Lewis Capaldi.

Indonesia’s We The Fest is set to take place from July 21 until July 23 and will feature performances from previously announced acts including Daniel Caesar, Sorn, Lee Hi, The Strokes, The 1975, The Kid LAROI and others.

The phase two line-up featured a handful of international and regional acts, as well as a slew of local performers including Hindia, Barasuara, Efek Rumah Kaca and Maliq & D’Essentials.

Other performers include Giveon, NxWorries (the duo of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge), Porter Robinson, Sabrina Carpenter and more. Indonesian acts on the line-up include Rafi Sudirman, Yura Yunita and Kunto Aji. See the full line-up below.
