A key witness for the prosecution identified rapper C-Murder as the shooter of a 16-year-old fan at the rapper’s murder trial, which is currently underway in Louisiana.
Witness Darneil Jordan Sr said he was positive that C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, shot and killed Steve Thomas, reports the Associated Press. But later, during cross examination, the witness admitted that he never saw the rapper with a gun.
The trial got underway earlier this week with jury selection, emotional testimony and graphic autopsy pictures.
Miller, 38, is on trial for second-degree murder for the 2002 killing that occurred during a nightclub brawl near New Orleans. The rapper has denied killing Thomas. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
