Slaves have cancelled a gig in Sheffield tonight (May 19) after singer-drummer Isaac Hollman was hospitalised for “an accident involving a kitchen knife”.
The Tunbridge Wells duo, who just announced a new batch of tour dates for November, have rescheduled the Sheffield Leadmill show for June 24.
Announcing the cancellation via the band’s Twitter, Hollman explained that he “won’t be able to play drums for a little while” after the incident.

The band announced a UK tour for November yesterday (May 18), including their biggest headline show to date at London Forum.
The Tunbridge Wells duo, who are wrapping up their current tour, will head out for 11 dates throughout November following the release of ‘Are You Satisfied?’ on June 1 and a packed festival schedule. The Forum date follows their support slot with Interpol this March at the same venue.
Tickets go on presale via their website at 9am this Wednesday (May 20), before general sales open at 9am Friday (May 22).

Meanwhile, Slaves recently teamed up with The Streets‘ Mike Skinner.
The band have collaborated with the MC and producer for a remix of forthcoming single ‘Cheer Up London’. Former EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson, known for playing the character Barry Evans in the BBC soap, appears in the video for the track.
