An Adele fan had to be taken to hospital from the ‘Hello’ singer’s Glasgow show after a chain from the light rigging fell into the crowd.
That area of the SSE Hydro was soon evacuated by security staff as a precaution, however Adele was completely unaware of the incident during her performance.
A spokeswoman for the venue told the Daily Record: “A chain belonging to the production came down and hit one person who was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“We are liaising with the production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at this stage.”
Adele took to Twitter after the show to address the incident, she wrote:
I'm so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It's being investigated to ensure it won't happen again. X

One fan, Stuart Duffy, tweeted an image of the lighting that the chain is thought to have fallen from.

Adele – who just secured her 25th week at the top of the album chart – will play the 13,000-capacity venue again tonight.
