Rising star Zara Larsson has shared another song from her upcoming album.
Titled ‘I Would Like’, it follows the Swedish singer’s recent single ‘Ain’t My Fault’, which has so far peaked at Number 13 in the UK.
Larsson has also scored huge hits this year with solo offering ‘Lush Life’, Tinie Tempah collaboration ‘Girls Like’ and MNEK duet ‘Never Forget You’. Her album is expected early next year.
Larsson has recently spoken about her experiences standing up to older, mainly male executives at her label. The pop singer-songwriter turned 18 last December, but she scored her first Number One hit in her native Sweden three years ago.
“I was 15 when I started, and they’re all basically men and middle-aged and know what they’re doing, so when I was 15 and I was saying ‘No,’ that was scary,” she told NME. “But I’ve had time to develop my self-esteem and the ability to say no, because that’s the most important thing that you can do.”
During her NME cover interview, she also spoke about the inspiration behind her string of hit singles.
“Mostly I just write about feelings that people can relate to,” she said. “Because, yeah, I don’t know who I am, and this is not my sound for ever… I’m a human, so hopefully I will always develop.”
