Kanye West has today (March 2) revealed details of a new surprise project with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz on his social media.
West has apparently been hard at work since the release of ‘The Life Of Pablo’ last month. The latest surprise collaboration featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz follows recent reports of him working in the studio on the his next LP, currently titled ‘Turbo Grafx 16’, which has been apparently named in homage to the rapper’s favourite video games console.
According to The Fader, the as yet untitled project will, in Kanye’s words, be released this Friday, according to ‘The Life Of Pablo’ creator’s Twitter account. View the post below.

Recently, West also revealed that he was sitting on unreleased material featuring the likes of Young Thug, Drake and Future.
Speaking of the Canadian star, West tweeted: “I wanna thank my brother Drizzy for helping me on 30 Hours & Father Stretch My Hands.”
He then went on to reveal: “Drake would come by and just help, no strings. Future also came by to write. We all got new shit together that’s gonna drop soon.”

Little else is known about what new material West, Drake and Future have been working on, but there’s no doubt he’ll give us an update via Twitter soon.
Meanwhile, West was also in the headlines again after apparently calling Taylor Swift a “fake ass” backstage at Saturday Night Live.
West and Swift famously fell out after the rapper interrupted the star’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs. They later reconciled, with Swift handing West the lifetime achievement prize at last year’s VMAs.
However, West caused controversy with lyrics about Swift in his song ‘Famous’. The track, which features on the rapper’s new album ‘The Life Of Pablo’, includes the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous.”
GettyPage Six later shared an audio clip purported to have been recorded backstage ahead of West’s Saturday Night Live performance last week where he continued to bad-mouth Swift.
A representative for West has since responded to the recording, telling Rolling Stone that West’s comments were meant to be “private”.
