Jack White has announced a trio of intimate shows to celebrate the release of upcoming album, ‘Boarding House Reach’.
The former White Stripes frontman will play shows at smaller venues in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and London, including a show at Islington’s The Garage on 28 March.
The shows will be the first time he’s played his new material live.

20 March, The Mayan, Los Angeles
23 March, Warsaw, Brooklyn, NYC
28 March, The Garage, London
‘Boarding House Reach‘ is out on 23 March via Third Man Records/XL Recordings, and will be White’s third solo LP.
It was recorded in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville – it’s the first time White has recorded an album in NYC or LA, and features a brand new group of musicians.
White previously released the first single from the album in the form of ‘Connected By Love’, as well as B-side track ‘Respect Commander’.
Back in January, the singer announced his first UK shows in four years, headlining London’s Eventim Apollo on June 27 and 28.
The dates sold out, but a new show on 26 June was added, which is on sale here.
White has banned phones from all of his gigs, ensuring that users keep them in a locked pouch throughout, to give an “100% human experience”.
White suggested that he is “wasting time” performing for people who “can’t even clap” because they have a phone in one hand and a drink in the other.
