The second day of Bring Me The Horizon‘s Jakarta concerts has officially been cancelled.

The announcement was made by concert promoter Ravel Entertainment today (November 11) on social media, just hours before the concert was scheduled to take place.
The announce comes shortly after the first night of Bring Me The Horizon’s two sold-out Jakarta concerts came to an abrupt end just 11 songs into the band’s setlist due to technical issues.
Ravel Entertainment’s Ravel Junardy wrote: “I, Ravel Junardy as the promoter of Ravel Entertainment, would like to clarify and apologise profusely for the lack of a setlist for the main performers on the first day of the show due to technical difficulties.”
“And we regret to inform you that the second day of the show had to be cancelled. As a form of responsibility, Ravel Entertainment will provide proportional refunds for the first day and also full refunds for the second day.”
Per Ravel’s post, refund details will be posted on social media in the coming days.
Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has now commented on the situation, providing context on what happened to force the show’s cancellation. “While we were performing last night (November 10), we got pulled off after one of our songs due to concerns from our crew and some of the local crew that the staging, the trust, basically a lot of the venue was structurally unsound,” Sykes said in an Instagram Story.
“It was bouncing so much that a lot of the video monitors, speakers, basically everything was bouncing at a really concerning amount and there were serious concerns that something would happen. The structure could’ve fallen and hurt people or worse, so we had no choice but to cancel the show,” he continued.
“Unfortunately due to that situation, we can’t play tonight (November 11) either. We’ve looked at everything we could do. We kinda suggested that we take our video screens away, we take out lights away and just play some kind of stripped back show.”
Syke’s video statement ends there, but suggests that the band had tried to find a way around cancelling tonight’s show but to no avail.
The first of two sold-out Bring Me The Horizon concerts in Jakarta, Indonesia came to an abrupt end last night (November 10) over supposed technical issues.
The band’s set at Ancol Beach City International Stadium came to an end just 11 songs into their setlist over what was conveyed by organisers as “technical issues”. The band’s last song was “DiE4U’, with videos surfacing of frontman Oli Sykes still singing to the crowd as the band walked off stage.
The band did not explain why they were leaving, or if they would be returning to finish out the set. Concert organiser Ravel Entertainment later took to the stage to announce that due to technical issues, the concert would not be able to proceed.

Following the announcement of the concert’s end, fans began to throw bottles onto the stage and stormed the stage, chanting for refunds, banging on the band’s drum kit, and singing ‘Drown’.

Organiser Ravel Entertainment posted a short statement on social media shortly after the end of the show, saying it is “responsible for the lack of a setlist of the main performers on the first day show.”
Cove Reber of Saosin – who supported Bring Me The Horizon at the concert – has since posted an Instagram Story on the fans’ behaviour, writing: “It doesn’t matter who is to blame, this behaviour is unacceptable. We came here to celebrate the music you love with you. Treat each other with love and respect and we will do the same.”
