It’s been confirmed that a remake of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is in development, and will be released this summer.
Originally released in 2002, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter sees players take on the role of Jango Fett as the bounty hunter gets to work across the galaxy. Set before the events of Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones, Bounty Hunter will see Jango Fett hired to capture a “deranged Dark Jedi,” according to the Steam listing.
“Fight your way through the galaxy’s underbelly, equipped with Dual Blasters, your Flamethrower, Whipcord, and pure Mandalorian Rage,” the listing continued.
The remake, headed up by Aspyr, will update the original game for modern consoles and feature “visual enhancements, improved environmental textures, new dynamic lighting effects, and a new flashlight tool.” The new remake will also feature Boba Fett as an unlockable playable character – something that was teased in the original, but never materialised.
