Nintendo hosted a Direct presentation yesterday (July 31) focusing on the new games coming to the Switch and Switch 2 from third-party developers in the coming months.
However a number of fans have called the reveals “disappointing” with expected titles like Hollow Knight: Silksong and the Switch version of Elden Ring missing from the livestream.

The big news from the Nintendo Switch Direct is that Star Wars: Outlaws will be available to all Switch 2 players from September 4. The open-world game released last year and features an original story set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
“Risk it all as scoundrel Kay Vess, seeking freedom and the means to start a new life. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.”
Bloober Team’s new sci-fi time-bending horror was given a release date during the Nintendo presentation. Cronos: The New Dawn will launch September 5 for the Switch 2 as well as PC, PlayStation and Xbox. According to developers, “Cronos: The New Dawn is a pulse-pounding, third-person survival horror game where time is your deadliest weapon — and your worst enemy. Survive a brutal future, dive back in time, and stop nightmarish creatures from merging into unstoppable abominations.”
