Devoted New York Knicks fan Timothée Chalamet could not contain himself as he watched his team achieve a record comeback in game four of the NBA Playoff Finals.
The Manhattan basketball franchise are looking to become NBA champions for the first tine since 1973 in a best of seven series against the San Antonio Spurs. Last Night’s (June 10) win saw them claw back a 29 point deficit to win 107-106 at Madison Square Garden. The feat marks the biggest comeback in NBA finals history, putting the Knicks 3-1 ahead in the series. A win for the side on Sunday (June 14) at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Centre would seal the championship.
Many celebrities have been present at the games, but one of the most consistent and vocal has been lifelong Knicks fan Chalamet, who shared his elation with the world on camera following the win. In one video, the actor can be seen courtside shouting into the camera: “We did it! Knicks baby! Knicks in five, baby! Jalen Brunson my God baby!” He then walks away from the camera before returning to add: “Matter of fact, OG my God! OG! OG!”, in reference to Knicks player OG Anunoby, who secured the game winning points.

The second video shows the Marty Supreme star in a different part of the arena in a crowd, jumping up and down alongside fellow Knicks fan Ben Stiller. He then grabbed a microphone from a TV camera crew and said: “I love you OG, let’s go!” Stiller ruffles the younger actor’s hair as he leaves, while both videos show Chalamet’s partner, Kylie Jenner, in the background.

The actor’s next big screen project is Dune Part Three, which is released December 18. The release of the teaser trailer in March saw fans already hail it as “the best film of 2026”.
